Our close friend Dr. H.G. Jones has been collecting and writing about the art and culture of the Inuit and their unique way of life for over 31 years. He is recognized as a preeminent collector and subject matter expert on Inuit carvings and sculpture from the Canadian Arctic. H.G. Jones is the published author of numerous books and Curator Emeritus of the North Carolina Collection at UNC Chapel Hill and the former director of NC Division of Archives and History.
